Reading begins with an Open Mike. Feataured Poets: Clare Rossini has published three books of poems and recently co-edited an anthology titled The Poetry of Capital (University of Wisconsin, 2020). Individual poems have appeared in publications such as Paris Review, Plume, The Kenyon Review, The Iowa Review, and Poetry, as well as in many anthologies, including The Best American Poetry series. She has received grants and awards from the State of Connecticut, the Minnesota Arts Board, the Bush Foundation, and the Maxwell Shepherd Foundation; has had residencies at MacDowell, Yaddo, and the American Academy in Rome; and has taught at Carleton College, Trinity College, and in the Vermont College MFA program.
Daniel Lawless is the author of The Gun My Sister Killed Herself With; his current book, I Tell You This Now, was released in February 2024. Recent poems appear in FIELD, Barrow Street, Prairie Schooner, Ploughshares, Poetry International, Los Angeles Review, upstreet, SOLSTICE, Manhattan Review, Massachusetts Review, JAMA, and Dreaming Awake: New Prose Poetry from the U.S., Australia, and the U.K., among others. A recipient of a continuing Shifting Foundation grant, he is the founder and editor of Plume: A Journal of Contemporary Poetry, Plume Editions, and the annual Plume Poetry anthologies. Refreshments.
