CCPL is a group of state and local poets laureate in Connecticut. It was initiated in 2014. The first members were Gordy Whiteman, Julia Paul, Charlie Margolis, and Ginny Connors. The mission of the Connecticut Council of Poets Laureate (CCPL) is to promote the enjoyment of poetry and be a resource for communities. The council will assist with the appointment of local poets laureate and support the efforts of these individuals.
