Debora Kuan is the author of three poetry collections: Women on the Moon, Lunch Portraits, and XING. Her work has appeared in Poetry, Time, The New Republic, Kenyon Review, The Iowa Review, and other publications. She has written art criticism for Artforum, Art in America, Modern Painters, and other magazines, and has been the recipient of residencies and fellowships from Yaddo, Macdowell, Santa Fe Art Institute, the U.S. Fulbright program, and the Iowa Writers' Workshop. She was the poet laureate of Wallingford, CT, and currently works at the MIT Press. Jared Stanley is a poet who often collaborates with artists and sometimes writes in prose. He is the author of four collections of poetry: So Tough, EARS, The Weeds, and Book Made of Forest, as well as many chapbooks and pamphlets. His writing has appeared in The New York Times, Bennington Review, Harvard Review, VOLT, Folder Magazine, and many others. His awards include The Saturnalia Prize, Harvard’s Woodberry Poetry Room Creative Fellowship (with Sameer Farooq), a Silver Pen Award from the Nevada Writers Hall of Fame, as well as fellowships from the Nevada Arts Council and the Center for Art + Environment. Stanley is an Assistant Professor of creative writing at the University of Nevada, Reno. All events are free and open to the public.
