Vicky Nordlund, architect of Rockville High School's Nationally Acclaimed Creative Program, is being honored. Hosted by Vernon Inaugural Poet Laureate Pegi Deitz Shea, the evening will kick off with readings and tributes by Vernon's current PL, RHS Senior and Scholastic National Silver Medalist Caitlin Chatterton, followed by Coventry Poet John Stanizzi. Then Vicky Nordlund will read from her books. Current and former RHS students will also speak.
Refreshments will be provided. The event is free and open to the public.
