Barb Fulton Jennes is the Poet Laureate of Ridgefield, CT, whose latest book is Blinded Birds (www.finishinglinepress.com) which examines how addiction impacts generations of families. Her work has appeared in numerous prestigious reviews, and she now serves as an addiction counselor.

Brand grew up in Sheffield, England. As a youth he was apprenticed as an engineer.
He entered university only in his late 30s, completing an English Literature and Linguistics (Hons) degree from the University of Sheffield. He then moved to Worcester, Massachusetts, where he attended Clark University, earning an M.A. in 1996. He retired as professor emeritus of English in 2017. He now spends his time reading, writing, and tracking down quality beers, accompanied by his wife on their travels at home and abroad.
