Vicinanza Studios & Gallery (VSG) presents Poetry/Acoustic Open Mic night every first Thursday from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., sign-up at 6:30. Renowned poets and local talents alike will find a platform for their prose, spoken word, and acoustic performances creating a vibrant atmosphere of creative expression. All readers/musicians can perform for up to 5 minutes in the open mic, and if time allows open mic'ers will have a second chance at the mic.

Upcoming programming:

Oct 3rd - Three Guys from Albany (a poetry performance troupe that been presenting lively programs for decades)

Nov 7th - To be announced (invites are out)

Dec 5th - Themed open mic - "gratefulness" - no featured poets
