EVENT TITLE: Poetry for Difficult Times
A ten-week virtual course will be held from Sept. 9-Nov. 11, Mondays, 10:00am offered by the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute. Instructor Gabriella Brand, North Haven Poet Laureate, says: Most of us are suffering from the world “being too much with us, late and soon”. We are all too aware of wars and climate change and loss. But poetry can be palliative and healing This course is inspired by a well known NPR poetry program.
