Friday: A “Taster’s Menu” of poets from across the country (CA,CO, MI, OH, IN, KY, FL, NJ, NY, CT, MA, NH, ME),including George Wallace (Writer in Residence at Whitman Birthplace, 1st Poet Laureate of Suffolk County, L.I.); Ron Whitehead (“Outlaw Poet,” 1st American Writer in Residence at City of Literature Tartu, Estonia, worked with Ferlinghetti, Hunter S. Thompson, Gregory Corso); Lorraine Currelley (Bronx Book Fair, Poets Network & Exchange, Harlem Arts Fund); Chris Vannoy (San Diego Book Prize, International reading tours); Paul Richmond (Winner of Missouri Review’s Miller Audio Prize, part of Do It Now), and many others. 3 minutes each, then Open Mic, then Musical Performance from Do It Now.

Saturday, September 2, 1 to 6pm, Celebrating new Beat Poet Laureates, Open Mic, music. On grounds of beautiful B&B, 22 River Road, Barkhamstad, CT
