A prime feature of Glastonbury's "On the Green" Festival, this ekphrastic reading features Poets Laureate Frederrick-Douglass Knowles (Hartford), Ryan Parker (Manchester), Bessy Reyna (Bolton) and Andrea Barton (Glastonbury). Other poets are Elizabeth Thomas, Jackie Killelea, Vicki Nordlund, Mark Busa, Mary Rose Meade, and Jerome Francis Lusa.

While the reading is on Sept. 10, the "bustling marketplace" runs from 10-5 on Sept. 9 & 10. Fine art and crafts will be for sale, music will be played, and a food court will offer yummy goods on both days.
